Round 3 of the 2021 KGA Season will be at Reflection Bay on January 31st.  This event will be a stableford format.  The 1st tee time is at 9:00 for $65.  RBay has 12 minute intervals.  Open to 40 players. Thanks to Tim Brand for setting this one up!

Four-Ball at Boulder City Golf Course at 10:00am for a group rate of $37.  Pick a partner and let me know who you are playing with.  Players without a partner will be paired randomly. 

 

FORMAT: Four-Ball Stroke Play

• Overview - Four-Ball is a form of play involving partners where:
  • Two partners compete together as a side, with each player playing his own ball, and
  • A side's score for a hole is the lower score of the two partners on that hole

MAJOR #1 @ BOULDER CREEK.   This is a TWO day event on Saturday March 27 & Sunday March 28th.  This is the 1st of 4 majors in 2021.   Tee Times Start at 8:30 both days and the event is open to 48 players.  The green fees are $55 per day payable in the clubhouse.  The game is $25 per day.  Skins will be paid each day, but the overall net payout and points are paid on Sunday. The course is asking us to be two to a cart this weekend in order to accomidate the event.  Players requesting separate carts may be subject to additional fees.  Course Rotation is TBD and a mix of rotations may be used between the two days. 

4 Club Challenge at Chimera Golf Club @ 9:07 am for a group rate of $65.  Pick any four clubs in your bag.  One of the clubs may or may not be your putter (Its up to you).  You can only have 4 clubs in your bag when you tee off.  We will be playing the Serpent tees at 6,359 yards.   Open to 40 players. 

Masters Sunday at Aliante Golf Club @ 7:02am.  Open to 28 players for $50.

KGA Two Day Team Event @ Rhodes Ranch Saturday July 17th 

KGA Two Day Team Event @ Rhodes Ranch (Saturday July 17th & Sunday July 18th).  7:32am starting tee times both days.  Open to 44 players.  $50 green fees.

 

Players must have a partner in mind when signing up (no free agents please).

Las Vegas Country Club Stableford Format @ 11:04 for $75.  Open to 44 players.  This might be the only time the owner allows us to play there this summer.  Don't miss it. 

KG8 - Saturday the 31st at Boulder Creek at 7:45am Open to 40 players.   

 

The KG8 is a two day event where up to 40 players try to qualify to an 8 player match play event held over two days. This event is a similar format to the Nevada State AM but cut down to play over two days instead of three.  

 

Up to 40 players will play 18 holes stroke play on Coyote & Desert Hawk. The top 8 finishers from the stroke play qualify for the KG8. 

 

The top 8 eight players will then play 9 holes of match play on Eldorado around 2:00pm Saturday to qualify to the top 4 for Sunday. 

 

The top 4 players will play Sunday morning in 9 holes of match play on Coyote at 6:30am. 

 

The final 2 play an 18 hole match with the main KGA group on Sunday.  3rd and 4th play an 18 hole match for consi match with main group on Sunday.  These matches will be with the regular Sunday KGA event (open to 36) starting at 8:30am on Coyote & Desert Hawk.  The final four will play in the last group of the KGA event as a foursome incase the 9 hole morning matches go long. 

 

The final 4 players could end up playing 27 holes Saturday and 27 holes Sunday unless they are tied at 9 holes in the match play events which might add a few more holes. 

 

The Saturday round is a qualifier and only the KG8 will be eligible for points. The points for the top 8 will be similar to a regular Sunday round (might be slightly worth more, tbd).   The Sunday round will be a regular points paying event.  

 

The cost on Saturday morning will be $50 per player.  The 9 hole round for the KG8 will be $20.  The final 4 in the morning will be $20.  The Sunday round at 8:30 will be $50.

You do not have to play in the Saturday KG8 Qualifier to play Sunday.  You can play Sunday only.   Sunday is a regular KGA event open to anyone that did not qualify for the top 4 from Saturday.   The cost on Saturday morning will be $50 per player at 8:30.  

 

 

TPC SUMMERLIN @ 12:10PM.   Open to 32 players.  I appologize for changing this from Boulder Creek, but Aaron has been working on getting our group out to TPC and they finally give us a chance to play.  This is the only time we will be able to play TPC unitl after the Shriners in the winter when the course is dormant.  The guest fee is normally $115, but Aaron was able to get us out for $100 with cart fee included.  If you can't play please withdraw from the portal as there are players on the waitlist.   Sorry for last minute change, but we literally just found out about the chance.
